Selby: Allotments

As part of my ongoing project to document the North Yorkshire market town of Selby & it’s people, I took a trip to the allotments. I’m wanting to include as many aspects as possible of life in the town.  

Perhaps it was the time of year, or the weather, but the allotments were deserted.  I was the only person there.  Many of the allotments looked abandoned or at least extremely neglected.  It’ll be interesting to re-visit them later in the year as the weather gets better to see if they’re getting any more attention.
