Yorkshire Dales Wedding Photographer: Laura & Geoffrey

It’s fair to say that Laura & Geoffrey’s wedding was probably the most relaxed day I’ve ever photographed.  It was the perfect coming together of two families and was very much a day for the kids as well as the adults.  What a perfect location too.  The ceremony was in the lovely St Michael’s church in Kirby, near Malham.  What really made the day though, was the reception in Malham show field .  Everything was pretty much put together by the bride and groom and the whole feel of the day was home-made and very much about family.

Did I mention that there was a lot of kids?  They had a blast.  Open fields in the Yorkshire countryside to play in.  Hay bales to climb all over.  A barrow full of sweets to ensure that sugar levels never fell below 110%.  All of that in the shadow of Malham Cove and the stunning Yorkshire Dales.  As long as you have the weather, there’s no better place on earth for a wedding.

The Big Day

As I was sorting the photographs for this post, I noticed that it was just over a year since Laura & Geoffrey’s big day.  It was at the end of June last year.  I will gradually catch up with my wedding posts!! But for now, because I know they’ll be reading this, I hope they had a fantastic anniversary!

Enjoy the photographs
