Daniel: Relaxed & Natural Headshots for Small Businesses

Daniel has the kind of job that many people dream of.  We had to fit his headshot session in between trips to New York as part of his role as an Executive Assistant. I love these headshots because they’re still very much business, but they’re a bit more relaxed too.  It feels like 10 years ago, there was a very distinct line between what corporate and business people wanted from headshots and what Actors and Artists wanted.  That line is definitely blurring.  Business headshots are certainly becoming a lot more relaxed.  I’m often in offices now, in and around Leeds, where no one is wearing a suit.    I quite like it as it makes for a different type of headshot session and end result.

It’s always a pleasure to have people like Daniel come into the studio in Garforth and chat to them as we do the headshots – I love to learn about other people’s jobs, what they do, what they love about it…sometimes what they don’t love about it.  It’s the perfect job if you’re a people person.
