Briony & Liam’s Wedding

Briony & Liam actually got married towards the back end of 2019.  I normally manage to get the wedding photographs from the latter half of the year on my website in the quiet first quarter of the following year.  2020 had other plans for us and as I was blogging away about weddings at the start of the year, Covid was gradually making it’s way around the planet.  It seemed pretty pointless to be telling people about wedding photography in a year with no weddings.  It also seemed a bit cruel to be sharing images of beautiful wedding days with people who’d had to cancel their own big day.  So, I kept pretty quiet on this website and didn’t share that much by way of wedding photography.  Pretty much all the work that I did do was through the Portrait Studio Website .

That brings us to the start of 2021.  Vaccinations are happening as we speak and there really does seem to be a little light at the end of the tunnel. It looks like there will be weddings from April (As things stand at the moment), albeit restricted.  Later in the year, almost normal weddings – fingers crossed.

So, I thought I’d start to share a few images from some of the weddings from the end of 2019, starting with Briony & Liam’s big day.

The Woodlands Hotel, Leeds

I’ve shot loads of weddings at The Woodlands Hotel & I love it.  It’s a fantastic, spacious venue.  There’s loads of rooms for guests, the garden is gorgeous and perfect for being outside, either for the ceremony or the afternoon reception. The Marquee space is lovely and is a photographers dream for shooting speeches and dancing late into the night – all in, it’s one of my favourite venues in Yorkshire.

Bookings for 2021

2021 is filling up now, but I still have some weekend and weekday dates available.  If you’d like more details or to meet to discuss your big day, please feel free to get in touch.

2022

People are starting to get their confidence back that we might have a normal year again in 2022.  I’m getting a lot of enquiries and it’s starting to feel like it might be a good year.  If you’re thinking of getting married in 2022, please feel free to get in touch.
